Background
As a faculty member at Ontario Tech, I've previously served as both the Undergraduate and Graduate Program Director of Computer Science, the Associate Dean of the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (SGPS) and as an elected member of the university's Board of Governors. I’m currently the Vice President & Director-At-Large on the CS-Can |Info-Can (https://cscan-infocan.ca/) Board of Directors. As a researcher, I lead the Software Engineering & Education Research Lab (https://www.seerlab.ca) where we focus on improving the quality of software through enhanced development practices, tools and education. In my lab we research the use of AI to support developers and personalize developer tools and education.Education
