Background
I am an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Ontario Tech University, where I lead the User Experience and Interaction Design Lab—UXID Lab. My research spans Human-Computer Interaction and Human-AI Interaction, with a focus on designing and evaluating digital and intelligent systems that support human capabilities, decision-making, usability and accessibility.
My work investigates novel input devices and interaction techniques, mobile and wearable interfaces, smartwatch and small-display interaction, information visualization, ubiquitous analytics and AI-assisted user interfaces. Before joining Ontario Tech University, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Waterloo and earned my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba.
