Science Café - Every Wednesday
Looking for extra help with a course or the chance to connect with classmates? Join us at Science Café on Wednesdays in SCI 4220! Teaching assistants will be available to answer your questions on Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Math, and Physics. You can find the schedule and more information here.
Science Outreach Volunteers - Always!
Our Science Outreach Team is always happy to recruit science enthusiasts for our outreach events and activities, such as Let's Talk Science, Science Rendezvous, and Durham Regional Science Fair. If you'd like to support these events and more, or just learn more about what opportunities are available, please email SR Volunteers at sr.volunteers.otu@gmail.com.
Last Day to Add or a Drop a Fall 2026 Course - September 21, 2026
This can be done online, through your student account. Also, October 5th is the last day to drop a course for a 50% refund and no academic consequences. Looking for more information? You can review the Academic Schedule, or reach out to Science Advising if you need some guidance.
Trivia Night with Ice Cream - September 22, 2026

Meet the Science Professors - September 25, 2026
Join Science Council for a chance to meet and connect with our science professors! Get to know them in a relaxed setting, ask questions about their research and experiences, and learn more about different paths in science. Ontario Tech Community Day - October 3, 2026
Student, alumnus, faculty or staff, everyone is welcome! From the Chancellor’s Challenge 5K run, walk, roll to alumni gatherings, student showcases, lab tours, interactive experiences, and a Ridgebacks varsity soccer game, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Learn more and register here!
