Title: A very brief overview of climate modelling and applications
Abstract: Modelling of Earth's climate and how it may change due to external forcings is a challenging and important problem. In this talk I will give an overview of the current state of climate modelling using as an example the second generation Canadian Earth System Model (CanESM2). I will also discuss some contemporary issues in which climate models play an important role.
