Title: Clone Detection to Find Model Patterns
Abstract: Clone detection techniques find similarities between programs, or within a program. These clones vary from exact copies to near miss clones in which the code is similar but not exact. NICAD is a tool developed at Queen's University that finds both identical and near miss clones. Simulink is a modelling language for used, among other things, to generated embedded software controllers. This talk will discuss how NICAD was applied to Simulink Models to find patterns in Simulink models.
